LOSS MOMS ON MUSHROOMS
About
I started Loss Moms on Mushrooms because as someone who has gone through the indescribable pain of losing a child, I know the healing that psilocybin mushrooms can provide. I wanted to start a community of loss moms and safe space to heal with others who understand. After I lost my youngest son, Beckett, I saw the world in gray. After working with psilocybin, my world is full of color again.
Mission
As a mother who has experienced the overwhelming pain of losing a child, I understand the agonizing journey of having to carry on with life as if nothing has changed. Psilocybin therapy offers a way to reclaim your life in a time where it feels hard to go on at all. It is not about erasing memories of your child or dismissing your grief, but rather about finding a way to rediscover joy, to find moments of peace, and to continue moving forward despite the immense loss. I believe that love is an energy that knows no boundaries. It goes beyond the physical realms of what we can see. Healing from Loss does not mean we forget about who we are grieving. Grief is a lifelong journey. But as mothers, we are always connected to our children whether we can see them still or not.
Loss moms on mushrooms offers individual healing sessions and also group retreats.
Vision
I envision the space I hold in these psilocybin journeys as a sanctuary for mothers who have experienced loss, where they can freely express their emotions and release the heaviness they carry within. This space is be free of judgment, allowing these mothers to openly discuss the profound loss of their child that consumes their thoughts every waking moment. Here, they can scream, cry, or simply be, finding solace in the understanding and empathy of others who share their pain. This is a safe haven where they can navigate through their grief, knowing they are not alone and that their feelings are valid and respected.
